I bought a 3594 and the PTO lever does not like to stay engaged. What is the procedure for adjusting the detent? Also I have heard that a faulty seal will also cause this issue. is there a way to know if the seal is causing the issue without pulling it apart?

Karl follow the small steel pipe, approx 3/8 in supplying oil to the PTO back to the PTO control valve. Disconnect the line from the valve, in the fitting on the valve
is a allen head hollow plug that applies pressure to the spring on the detent ball for the PTO. Simply turning it in will increase the force holding the detent. Tighten
it just enough to hold valve in place when PTO is on. If you get it a little to tight it will not shut itself off when tractor engine is shut-off. Rod.
