If you NEED a 100hp tractor with a 1000 rpm pto shaft then it's not a bad price for a working tractor considering what newer stuff costs.
But I'd say he's still a thousand too high considering the 3point hitch is missing.

If you want to restore it up then there's a lot not right with it. Muffler and air intake stack are not right. Wheels have been replaced. Seat back, front wrap around weights and 3 point hitch are missing. Tie rod is bent. Hyd outlets not right either. Also must be an early model as I don't see any oil cooler lines on the left side. I've never been a fan of implement tires on the front end either but hey, if it fits your needs then who cares about a thousand one way or the other?

I think I'd offer $2,500 and be prepared to walk away. You can find nice well kept unmolested 1030s with a cab yet besides for $5,000 and be better off.

Ok thanks I really Like 900s 930s and 1030s but I am not familiar with the right equipment on the tractors..I was thinking of an offer of 2200 to 2500 but at 3000 it was not well received..Im walking away..

Here's a very nice one. Not mine but a close friend just down the road in Glenwood. He's a former Case mechanic and has a repair biz. He took it from a long time customer who'd stopped farming years ago and kept this 1030 for running a snow blower. He's been going south for the past dozen years or so and although he'd run it around in t he summer to keep fuel fresh, it never worked. New 38" rears and as I recall a fairly low houred tractor. At any rate Grant has maintained this guys eqpt for the past 20 years or so and knows the tractor. I believe he's just trying to sell it for the owner. My email is open so drop a note and I'll give you his phone # and stuff. I know it hasn't been advertised as he's going to replace a rear axle seal and I think take off the cab. This is the tractor I bounced off this group awhile back for him on the cab removal. He is not into computers........ I know this will be priced to sell.

930 and 1030s don't bring much money in my area. If you buy one you will have to live with it for the rest of your life.

I dont see the Transmission Cooling lines on the Clutch Side = a Early model /some one look to see =i might be wrong ??

Dads cousin had a 1030 that was a twin to that one. Cozy cab all padded up and 38" rears made it a nicer and faster 1030 than mine with the noisy pos Egging cab that was no match for the Cozy. Mine had 11L 15 tires on the front. I put a Case factory cab on mine several years ago and am happy with it. Smaller but quieter than the Egging. Can't bit*h tho as I have a Egging on the 930.

(quoted from post at 16:06:59 12/19/17) Wow did I screw that one up..I m use to seeing lp
tanks on old cranes for heat..

You usually don't see 1030 LP burners. Back in the day, you would see diesel tractors with piggy back LP tanks on them. Never did know the advantage of that setup.

You are all screwed up. In the first pic you can clearly see injection pump. In second pic you can clearly see the intake pipe from air cleaner and glow plug in the elbow to the intake manifold. There are no LP regulators there. ALL 1030s were diesels.

I was referring to the tractor in the last picture of casecollectorsc's posting. It's a 930, but it definitely not a diesel.

(quoted from post at 00:49:54 12/20/17) 930 with the blower is a LP tractor. Tank on the front is a supplement to the rear tank.

How does the LP 930 perform? Is it easy to start in the winter? Does it make enough horse power? I knew a farmer from years back that had several LP fueled Minneapolis Moline tractors. He had a big propane tank he fueled them with, plus a big portable tank in his pickup for refueling when he was doing custom work. The first new generation John Deere he bought was a LP model. After that he went with diesel tractors.
