Case 831 hydraulic fill cap or breather plug replacement ?

There is a type of breather plug above the hydraulic pump slightly below the top link but above the levers. The top link went at an angle that was too low and bent off this breather cap/plug. I was lucky to get ithe inner threaded part of the plug out and now i am looking for the name of the part to replace it. It was holding 2 springs in place of what looks like a valve for thr below housing.

I will try to get the pictures to work of the broken part which is in the top right corner of the picture. Hopefully someone will know what the part is called and what its purpose is.

That is the pressure relief valve.

Like Bradley said, that is NOT a fill point but the pressure relief cap that hold the relief in place, you want to go farther forward to find the big Hex plug closer to the shifters,with the dip stick for fluid level, on the 30 series the rear end and hyd system is all one and the same

Thank you i will try to fond the pressure relief valve. The top link came down and sheared off most of the top of it. Luckily threads inside are still ok.

Anyone know of any kits or parts that will help relocate the top link bracket ?

Quite often you see the PTO bracket/"hog nose" listed for sale over in the photo adds, or CL.
Many of the Case people here have fabricated brackets that allow the use of the PTO and the 3pt together, such as on a rotary cutter. The custom bracket will need to be made from at least 3/8" thick steel plate or angle iron, and drilled to bolt to the 4 studs protruding from the PTO shaft bearing quill, and then attach to the bracket atop that you put your top link in so it will support and disperse the weight of mtd. tillage equipment. It takes some engineering and fabrication skills to build one that will function with a variety of implements.
Here is a pic. of the correct hog nose and top link for an 830 Eagle Hitch tractor.

You will need to start scouring wrecking yards to find the part, or post a wanted ad on this site.
