What is a 1570 worth????

I have a fellow that wants to trade me a Case 1570. He needs 540 PTO and is looking at a JD 4450 I have. His tractor is a 1977 model, 2800 original hours, Nice paint and cab. Good tires with duals. I am thinking it is a $9000-10000 tractor retail, tops???? Anyone see any of them sell lately?? I have seen some Case 1370s sell and they are pushed to bring $6000-7500 but I have not seen any clean ones sell.

Your pretty close to maybe a bit high. The 1570 is more rare than a 1370 and has a few advantages so they generally bring a bit more. Just make sure it shifts correctly as a bad trany can be expensive as most power shifts are. Also at that age and hours the engine is likely original so check for antifreeze in the oil as the sleeve o-rings can leak.

I like that you put the original weights back on the tractor. Have them on a 1170 and had a nos weight carrier and weights that I adapted to my 4690. Very good looking 1570!

My Doctor bought one with under 1000 hours this summer for $10K, looks like new.

Not sure why all these real cherry 1570s are showing up lately. Never seen any of the smaller ones that nice.
