I like your custom grill, I just bought a parts tractor with a decent grill as I'm still piecing my 300 back together.

We split it clean out the rodents nest/build up in the bell, went ahead and changed the clutch bits while had it apart. Head gasket was weak in two places, so head came off and got a valve job. Oil pressure was bad, so got a kit from John Saeli for the oil pump. Had a busted manifold and carb, so both are new. Seat is rebuilt now and front end got a hub rebuilt and adjusted. It is mostly back together now and going down the road straight and fast. Still need to get the sheet metal together and back on it.

These little tractors are fun to drive. I bought mine to run my King Kutter weed shredder. It will be awhile before I get a chance to put it to work though.

Very nice tractor, bet you enjoy using it.
I have a "310", but still waiting in storage for its day of restoration.
Thanks for posting

My wife wanted a 300RN so I would see one from time to time at a repair shop. I would tell the guy at the shop ask the owner if he will sale it.
Then I found out where the owner lived and once or twice a year I would stop and see if it was for sale yet. Then one day I just happen to be
out his way and noticed that he had a little IH tractor. I looked hard to see if the 300 was still there too, it was. So I stopped and ask is the 300
for sale. The guy didn't even remember me because so many people had stopped to try and buy the tractor over the years. Any way he said
yes I think I would sale it. So we agreed on a price. When I went to pick it up I ask if he had the drawbar and top link, he said yes in the shed
and there is some side fenders too. I knew what he meant. Few weeks later I was plowing garden and it stopped pulling, great now I know why
he replaced it. It would pull fine till u put a load on it. I'm thinking clutch. Well after some inspection I found to key way was missing from the axle
and had been gone a long time, I still think he though the clutch was going out too.

I'm surprised the wheel didn't work it's way off the axel and fall off. I bet a lot of Case 300 side panels were tossed in the scrap heap when it came time to clean out grandpa's shed. I've also seen 300's that were completely stripped of their sheet metal. The owners take it off to make a repair and never put it back on. This sort of thing drives me crazy.

I really like my 300RN. It was a good buy and a fun restore. I do wish it had been a square nose though. Those are easier to work on tinwork wise.

You have a really nice looking pair of tractors. Did the side panels come with your 300? I've been asking about the side panels for the 300's for some time now and never get any kind of answer.
