1931 case c?

I bought a case tractor a few years ago that had no serial # on it. I was told it was a 31 C. The only numbers I can find are on the block. One number is L31-31, the other is 4569A. Does anyone have any info?? Thanks!

For a c or cc tractor you must look at the block. There is a flat machined rectangle by the head gasket. I think it is above the mag on the right side. The serial number will be stamped there
