930lp Carb Question

I notice that the diaphragm on the Ensign LP regulator must have a hole in it as when you turn the key on I can hear lp going into the air cleaner oil. I am going to just change the whole system out to a Impco Regulator and Carburetor. Just wondering if anyone can tell me the carb number. I know the Reg is a Model E, and I ordered that, but looking for information on the carb, and maybe where to get one. This is for the 1966 Case 930lp. Thanks in advance for any help - Bob

LP systems have a pre-charge solenoid that helps in starting. The idea is to give the engine a little shot of fuel to aid in starting.

I know my LP 930 system has that feature. I am not saying you dont have an issue with your regulator but what you are explaining sounds normal.

Hopefully someone that owns an LP 930 can chime in

This link may help. You'll need the CA100 but I don't remember what the horn size is.
Call them and they can cross reference the number from your old carb.
