Hi everyone. I'm thinking about buying a case 380ck with front loader, 3pt, and rear pto. However, the pto is stuck and the tractor has to be turned off whenever the pto needs to be engaged or disengaged. Should this be a dealbreaker? or is this something that can be overlooked? Thanks for any insight.

once started is the PTO fully engaged ,..?? it would not be a deal breaker for me//// case tractors are generaly
simple, and not horrible to diagnose and repair . more than likely your problem mirrors the common problem of not
having a decent clutch brake ,affecting alot of independant PTO Case tractors that are not equiped with a hand
clutch .. not sure i ever heard of a 380??

380 is a 885 david brown underneath. A stuck pto clutch isn't a big deal. Worst case it needs split and a couple 100 in parts. A competent mechanic should be able to do one in in a half day.

it might free up with some use and abuse.
