Need to replace a late 1950's G148 in a Case 310B with a 159 cu in diesel out of a late 1950's Case 300 series. Is this possible and how feasible? Any insight will be greatly appreciated! Thank-you!

Per Tractordata.com, the difference in the two engines is about .125" in the bore. I think the 159 is about an inch longer, so sheet metal might be short. Does anyone make a thinner sleeve for the 148?

Case never built a 159 diesel engine. The vintage of tractors you refer to used a Continental engine and it was a 157. A totally different animal. See my comments over on the other forum where you posted same question. A 300 with a running Continental diesel is worth far more than what you can buy a running 148 for.
