Info about hooking up wood splitter to VAC

All I have is pump located on belt pulley, is it possible to run a wood splitter? There is a hole on the engine where I was told a live hydraulic pump fits would I have to get one of those?

It might be able to be done but it would take a month of Sundays to get much split since it is a very low GPM pump and low pressure also

Agree 100% the belly pumps are high pressure but very low volume, like two hyd jacks slow, the engine pump has more gpms but like said it is only for low pressure aps, 1000-1200 psi max I would not even consider using either for a splitter, a PTO pump will work very well and have the speed you want
cnt

I just used a pump off an old grain truck, works great and the splitter stays home too............. Worked well on my VAC, all except the big ol elm crotches. 20" oak rounds are a grunt too. I now use an SC, only 'cuz the V went down the road
