I was perusing the Archives , and ran across an article on lead doweling a head that had cracks between cylinders. Has anyone used this practice, and where did you learn of this repair. Inquiring minds want to know. CM

There was a machine shop in Fergus Falls, Minn. It was called Smokeys repair, he came highly recomended, that how he did it! Not sure if he's still open or not.

My research took me to the world wide web, only to find a great resource . I am going To chase this down and see where it takes me..I can only assume that at one point, this may be cost prohibitive with some projects, but none the less an answer for Those who do not have another alternative. More on this later CM
