My bro's first Case tractor

Hello all,
My brother called me a few days ago to tell me he bought this Case 930 tractor. I guess I was shocked because he farms with his father in law, and his father in law is a 100% Deere man. So hopefully the Case is allowed on the farm. LOL. I told my brother that this Case will outshine the 2 4020's that are on their farm now. The tractor is local. It was only 7 miles from me. The guy had owned it for 32 years on a small farm also. Looks to be taken care of. I have not personally seen or drove it yet. I hope to soon. I am not sure what year it is. It was used to pulling a 4-18's moldboard plow. I guess it was rated at 93hp. Does that seem about right? I do have question about the hydraulics though. Are the hydraulics the same set up as they are on the 70 series? Where the top 2 and bottom 2 go together for hydraulic hook ups? We both grew up in the early 70's watching a couple of old neighbors that both had 930's. I loved to listen to them working in the field. They were my favorite 30 series tractor because of that. I hope the photo link works for all to see. Thank you. Kow Farmer Kurt

That ole 930 will out-lug those 4020's. The hydraulic outlets are across left to right bottoms go together for one spool then the tops are together.

He will sure loved that tractor I feel. I love mine. And yes they have that sound you can listen to all day. Believe me I have done it many times in my life

It looks really straight Kurt, I hope your brother has a good time driving that old workhorse. Maybe he'll even let you drive it. LOL Don
