Replacing hydraulic coupler line on a 2090

Can this line which is about a foot of rubber hose pressed onto a steel line to the valve be replaced with all rubber
hose? Second question can you take loose the back two cab mounts and jack up the back of the cab a few inches
so you can work underneath the cab is that even possible or just a bad idea . A couple of more inches of clearance
underneath that cab would make this job a lot easier to replace with original line. Thanks.

All the valves I have added over the years were plumbed with hoses. Local hydraulic shop gets the adapters if they are needed. if your original line is the wrong one it can be tricky to get out. Usually easier to remove another line or 2 to get a tough one out rather than lift the cab. Hoses slip in easy. Make sure the ends are capped before pushing them into the dirt under there.

Oh geez that's the same one I had to do a year ago. My arm still hurts from being wedged under the cab trying to put the clamp back together.

Case couldn't get the line but a hydraulic shop made a reproduction...If I had to do it again, seems to me jacking the cab up and taking off one of the mounts would be the ticket...Just make sure you are not tweaking anything by jacking too far and you should be fine. I don't see any problem with all hose either as long as it is supported.

After that experience I made sure no more lines are rubbing anywhere on that thing...I'm guessing that's what took yours out....
