I'm putting new brake actuating balls on my 1070 because the left one sticks & old balls are rusty & are probably original. Everything else looks good including no leaks. My question is do I leave the balls & seats dry after cleaning the seats. I had the same problem on our 686 IH & new balls cured the sticking & a long time IH mechanic I know said to leave the seats & balls dry & not lube with anything so they would stay cleaner. There is some lube on the old ones & it looks like anti seize. Other than being hydraulic on the 1070 the brakes are pretty much the same. Forgot to mention the brake has very good petal. It's just the sticking problem.
Thanks, Dennis
