Any recommendations on the kind and plug number to use?
Apparently there are some not to be used and some no longer available.
AC. Champion. Autolite. Bosch ??? Resistor type???

3116's for the DC, but the Autolite 437 is a better choice for the SC in that it is a little hotter than the 295 & a "Power Tip" like the 3116.

I have always used Champs and never had a problem with them. I use D 21's when just driving around and D 19"s when working in the field. Use them in my Case tractors and my red tractors.................Kenny

My dc really doesn't like champion plugs and never has as far back as I can remember. I've had good luck with autolites.

Converted all my DCs to distributors for maintenance reasons and startability. Always used Champs for no particular reasons. No plug problems. None of my DCs or dad's C burned oil or tended to foul plugs.

Autozone cross ref. a Bosch plug 7919 for my SC. They worked just fine.
I had one cylinder that seem to foul more than the other and this one seemed to work very well in that one.
