Case 2390 transmission grinding

A while back I posted a question on a 2390 grinding when putting it into a range gear. Split the tractor engine and found broken bevel springs in C2 clutch pack. Also damage to friction discs in C3 clutch pack. I also found that it damged friction discs in C1 and C4. Install new drive plates and friction plates in C1,C4,C2,and C3 clutch packs. Install new bevel springs in C2 and C3. Also replaced C2 and C3 pistons because they were pretty beat up. Cleaned up the power shift valve because tractor had a bad case of metal shavings in the oil. Put tractor back together. Check inching pedal adjustment for spool travel check adjustments for shift cables. Tractor will still occasionally grind when putting it into a range gear. Check pressures and pressures are within the specs. I know you have to be at a complete stop to change ranges and if I put my foot on the brakes it shifts no problem. It is a lot better now then before. I'm out of ideas is there something else I'm missing. Don't want to give the tractor back to the customer yet.

The "transmission brake" on Case powershift tractors is a small orifice that feeds oil to C4 clutch when cl pedal depressed. Tractor will shift w/less grinding if RPM's are 1500+ rather than low idle.
