Albert City Case Featured Events

I saw on Facebook some schedules for Albert City. Thanks to those who posted. I don't post on FB so I'll do it here.
It's been very difficult for those who can only visit for a day to decide what day to come to see and do Case stuff.
And still....no mention of the Case Banquet. This is a *Case club only* event so Albert City Threshermen have not been advertising it, and the Case clubs have been using the Threshermen's fliers and show guides so word is not getting out there.
So here's in a nutshell some Case only featured events. There may be others, I'm just hitting the highlights. I hope this helps.

Friday:
Case fun pull and Case-o-matic Demo 6 p.m. The C-O-M Demo will duplicate the demonstration Case held at the 100 Series World Premier in Phoenix, AZ.

Saturday:
Case Auction 7 a.m. Yes that's a bit early if you have to travel, get parked, get a bidder number and view items but it needs to get it done before the Case featured parade begins at 10:30.

Case Eagle-Hitch Plowing Demo 2 p.m. First ever all Eagle Hitch Plowing Demo. Help set the record for the most EH plows in the same field.

Case Banquet at the Colin and Mary Johnson Farm. Evening. Payment and tickets will be made at the show so I assume you will need to ask for addl. info at the Case feature building??? The large 14 ft. 175th anniversary banner that was at the Racine show will be auctioned off and a raffle will be held for the Case quilt.
Max Armstrong will be the featured speaker for the Case banquet.

Daily Events: Friday through Sunday
Case Parade. 10:30
Ladies of Steam. 11:30
Experience the Evolution. 1:00
Case Feature exhibits. All day
Case Car Display. All day

Also on display from CNH will be the original J.I.Case Ground Hog Thresher.
And look for the Classic Tractor Fever folks as they attend the event to film for their RFD-TV show.

Thanks Brad for posting here,, I have been wondering if you ever even go the the fb page,, Glad to hear you are there like John!!

I haven't had much luck finding out about camping. Taking the camper down and have been told we will have to go elsewhere....guess we'll only stay a day then. Can't stay in the parking area. Seems you can't find anyone that knows about camping.

Sure wish I could make it to Albert City it sounds like a good show is planed. We had it planed to go but our daughter who helps around the ranch went and got a real job. Then we got that worked out her husband got sick. After two major surgery's the last one two weeks ago we just can't leave for two weeks. The good news the SIL will make a full recovery. Sure was looking forward to meeting the YT friends. Travel safe and have a good time. Steve

I check it out every day Tom and yours is one of the best. Thanks for all your efforts there. Really is a different flavor from YT as it seems to be a very much younger crowd over there for the most part.

Steve, not sure about the official camping or where it's at. But there should be open field camping (no hookups) right across the road from the show. No generators after 10:00 pm.???? First come, first served. I was told they don't want anyone in there until Monday because they will be mowing over the weekend.

Overflow from there is to be available in town around the football field or some such thing.???? Pretty vague info. Wished I could tell you more.

We have both for sure but yes lots of younger guys and gals I hope this keeps the Case collecting alive. With over 12,000 members now and people from all over the world it really seems to be flowing and thriving,, thanks for being a aprt of it with us

I am sure they will find a place for you to park. If nothing else park with the trailers. The showers will be a hike though.

For those of us who aren't able to make it, please take plenty of video. Maybe it could be uploaded to YouTube for us to feel like we are there! You all are going to have a great time!

Just a thought, the Classic Tractor folks will be making a video of the whole event. They can be ordered now and would make great Christmas gifts for cold weather viewing when the snow comes flying this winter.
