Hi All,

New to the forums but have been reading them for quite some time.

I have a '52 DC-3 I picked up last year that is in very nice shape and runs great. I am trying to figure out where the oil filter line towards the top of the oil filter canister connects to, since mine was all disconnected when I bought it. Ive looked through the manuals I have plus any picture I can find online but no luck in figuring out where it is supposed to connect. I have the bottom line figured out but not the top one.

If any one can help I would appreciate it! A picture would be very much appreciated too.

Thanks all!

Ken

The top line is the supply line. It goes around the back of the block to a Tee. The other branch of the tee goes to the oil pressure gauge.

OK Got it!! Thank you. Theres no "T" on mine so that's been removed as well.

Thanks a lot, this really helps!

Filter is a partial filter and was always an option..... Someone perhaps picked a can up and never
properly plumped it?

Thats really possible, or maybe something started leaking and they bypassed it. Who knows.

Glad to get the help on how its supposed to connect so I can put it back to original. :)
