Our 970 dies. We have cleaned the tank, replaced filters and replaced the line running to the pump. Cycling the primer pump a few time will get it going again. Any ideas? Thanks!

I would ck. to see if something in the tank was floating around and plugging line, when it dies does it have fuel at the pump (take the line loose it should run a good stream)next I would ck. primer pump in the main pump I believe it takes a 1 inch socket, right by the sediment bowl, spring might be bad.

Might check the two supply pump assembly check valves, one is under the hand primer and other is under the 19MM plug next to it. If a small piece of trash holds either one off it's seat it will give trouble.

After trying the good advice already given, and if you still have trouble, look in to the fuel return circuit. A restriction in this will give the same trouble. That 1/4" plastic line could have gotten pinched, or, there is a check valve in the fuel return fitting at the injection pump I have seen junk in before.
