Dale: We can't help w/ the internal starter seal, unless maybe I could get some dimensions. We do stock the cork gasket.

Thank you for responding. I was about to call.
I found a cork gasket at local case-ih dealer
The seal: Repairman said there was no seal in the starter. There should be. He has no real dimensions. Will have to measure the seat and the diameter of armature shaft. We may resort to an O ring.
Right now starter is back on tractor. Will take off later after a vintage tractor parade.
