Rear tires for a DC

They once were round. Now one with a slow leak and the other with a fast leak. It has 13.6 x 38 tires on it now. I know where a pair of duals with I think 16.9 x 38 tires are at. Not been moved for years. They have quite a bit of tread on them. Probably very hard. I am not too concerned with appearance. Would 16.9 work on current rims. I know they are not the optimum size..

You can put them on but they will look odd plus when aired up the center will stand up a good bit higher since the rims for the 13.6X38 will be 2 or 3 inches narrower then what a 16.9 tire should be on. A 16.9 should go on a 15 inch wide rim and I bet the 13.6 is on a 11 or 12 inch rim

16.9 X 38 will fit a 14"-15"or 16" rim.

Ah but the correct rim is the 15 inch for the 16.9. I did not say it would not fit the others I also said it could be put on a 11 or 12 inch rims but would look odd.
