My "900B" is shown here in happier times, she is on the repair list now as she needs a bottom done. I do miss her so maybe this fall she will be put on the list.
I liked this picture as the Case chisel plow was hooked up to her, and she had the "meats" on! (duals)

Hi Dan, the 900 must have begged for mercy pulling that chisel around. Got a customer still pulling one like that with his 1370 and in our soils he can stop it dead in its tracks. Nice pic, Rod.

Sold my good 59 900B and my 910 LP. Got a 58 900B, 910B and a 1958 900B as well 2 57 900's. All I could find was my 59 910B

Rod,

Dan lives in the area where I grew up in northern ND (you probably know that) and the soil there is considerably lighter than in SW Minnesota where you live. So the 15 foot chisel plow would be a "regular" load for a 900. When I was growing up in that area, most chisel plows of 15 or 16 foot sizes (most popular brands were Graham Hoeme and Jeffrey) were being pulled by Case 900 or 930, John Deere R, 80, 820, or 830, McCormick WD9, Super WD9, 600, or 650, and comparable HP tractors of less popular brands. Case, McCormick and John Deere were the BIG sellers in that area.

Ron & Rod,

Yes, many areas here as you said Ron are light ground, but I live up in Cavalier, and there is heavy, and light, from my farm about 3 miles is super heavy and as you mentioned Ron, the 900B would fight with that chisel plow, but here where I'm and with the duals on, she is a big one.

Ron, where I grew up, (Edinburg) the ground was lighter, yes, the "1030" I have now, pulled a 20' Case chisel plow, but we didn't put it in to far either, but normally the "1470" pulled it, and you know when you have a Case dealership, tractors come and go. Wasn't long before we had another "1470", then a "2470" then up to a "2670"

Thank you Ron and Rod for your post. The "900B" was a big tractor in its day, hey,,, it still is

Hey Steve, you are the king of the "900"s
