hydraulic pump help

This is off the front of my Case VA for the loader. When I tore it down, the loader was not working. Could have been water, low oil, maybe this pump, I dunno. Your sage advice is welcome. Rebuild it now? Later? There isn't much writing I can see to identify a rebuild kit.

Thanks,
Bill

I would check the suction line all the way to the reservoir and make sure it is not clogged up with crap. take the fittings out of the pump and look in the holes and you should see the gears spinning. if they are not the pump is junk. if they are then it should be good enough to at least get it working (even if weak). then put it back together and try it out. if still no function find a pressure port and put a gauge in it. when you go to raise the open spool should port pressure to the raise position. you may have a stuck open relief valve that is dumping all flow back to the tank. the relief valve is adjusted with a screwdriver under what looks like an acorn nut. never had a VAC before but this is all just general loader hydraulic stuff. hope it helps, gus
