Case 2390 grinds when shifting

Case 2390 grinds when putting the range lever into any of the gears.
Power shift works fine. Checked pressure on C4 with pedal
depressed and get 200 psi which is when spec. With pedal released
there is 200psi on C2 and nothing on C4. Possible that something is
wrong with C2 clutch pack?

Also checked inching pedal adjustment and the spool travels 1-1/16".

When the pedal is depressed does the tractor want to back-up a little. That is common if C-2 is dragging. If all the pressures are proper with the pedal down and the grinding is abnormal then there would be something causing a clutch pack to drag. What the cause is really does not mater now because you will have to tear into the powershift anyway and will find the problem then. Rod.

A broken belleville spring at C2 or C3 will cause those symptoms.
