Split tractor, Disassembled, replaced release bearing, pilot bushing, clutch, pressure plate, resurfaced flywheel. Started it up and pushed in the clutch and ground up gears. Adjusted the clutch rod all the
way in, still no clutch.

Sage advice welcome.

Thx,
Bill

i dunno ,, did you get the correct parts ,,. mite be enuf difference to cause trouble ,,. so there is no disengage on the clutch rite?? ,,. is it possible to reverse sumthin in there >>??,, perhaps try reversing the rod adjustment the opposite you have done ???. /// old story// this may not be your cause but always a possibillity ,/// my son and his pal put a clutch in my 77 ford pikup ,,. similar no clutch syptoms , we took it bacjk down , and found a qurter inch nut had grease pasted itself to the clutch facing while sitting on aless than clean and dark shop table ,., it doesnt seem possible , but , thattruk drove like amodel t , allthe way down you traction as well as all the way out ,but midways there was a semblance of aclutch

Did you by chance put the clutch disk in back wards?? If you did it will not release. Guess how I learned that one.

Yep, old Chevy pickups. A bit easier to replace than a tractor, but still a pain. But rest assured you'll never make that particular mistake again.

That's the thing, I'm pretty sure I did not install the clutch backwards. I took a picture before I buttoned it up.

So, assuming you didn't put the disc in backwards, did you take the flywheel, disc, pressure plate all in to a competent clutch rebuilder and have them set it all up?

I got all new (reman) parts from YT. I had the flywheel resurfaced from the local Advanced recommended to me by another shop.
