Lifting a Lely Roterra with my 1270.With the raise stop all the way back it picks it right up.Problem is the pto is such an angle I can only raise it a couple inchs off the ground, which isnt much movement at the lever. It raises really slow like this. Sometimes I get out and walk around the tractor, and all at once the hitch raises. Had the cover off the bottom linkage box, and didn't see anything wrong. Any ideas?

Your DOM or 3 pt valve needs a good cleaning. This can sometimes be done by not removing the valve but I find that to be a real pain as oil will be dripping down on you.
Removing the valve requires draining the trans oil most of the time and is a bit more work but a good thorough job can be done that way. The main spool needs to be un
screwed from the linkage box for valve removal. Do not mess with the lowering screw adjustment and a CASE manual will be very useful if you are unfamiliar with these
valves. Rod.
