Looks great ! I'm a step ahead of you my 1949 is going back together. Im away on vacation and I have no wifi so I'm having trouble uploading photos from my phone.

Did you prime over the existing paint? I am getting to do one and will not be able to sand blast and was not sure whether to prime over everything or just the bare metal

I primed over the original paint after sanding, sand blasting hurts gaskets and seals if your not careful. I did blast the sheet metal

Yikes! Recommend you not hold a tractor up with cinderblocks. Had a customer with an old Chrysler-based motor home one time, he didn't like my quote to replace both head gaskets so he tried to do it himself on the street. Next morning pieces of cinderblock and engine oil were all over the street and the tow truck was leaving with what was left. No blood or bones, thank goodness. Railroad ties work well, they don't shatter. As long as they're not old and dried out.
