Well now I've done it! Spilled Gasket Compound

I didn't secure the cap on my Permatex Indian Head Shellac compound and it's all over my dies and taps in my tool box.
What do you guys recommend to soften it up and remove it?
Boy brother Chuck is going to have a field day with this one!

I'll let someone who hasn't done something similar throw the first stone. gobble BTW; What's your ride this year? SC or DC? I think the tractor will do 90 miles, not sure about the operator lol

I'm taking the SC because it's getting new shoes!
I'm going to try the Titan Tractor Ride tire with the center rib. My Firestones are literally worn out after six years.
I'm in the 12 MPH group (purple) and with 90 plus miles I will be looking for gas before the end of each day. Souix City Ride taught me the SC has a range of 107 miles. Actually it taught Brother Chuck that.
I see they have anticipated the long days and are positioning a gas refueling truck in various places.
See you folks there.

Tom's got it right about casting the first stone, You know you've really done something when you tap a crooked hole. And I can fix those! See you fellow soon
