Case 830 hydraulic question

Hey all new to the site, been lurking a while. I have had some problems with my 67 830 case comfort king. My problem is my right side remotes are acting like they have weak pressure and are not able to keep my haybine raised. The left side seems lifts much better and will hold. I noticed in my manuals that the right side has thermal valves and left does not. Anyone have any insight on this. I pulled the right side case off the aux valve hoping for a broken check spring but everything so far looks ok. Just wondering how much deeper I should dig into this. This problem was instant not something that kept getting worse. Thanks

Are you hooking the hydraulic hoses to the correct couplers? Top left and top right couplers are a circuit. Bottom left and right are a
circuit. Hoses go one on each side not upper and lower on one side. The manual explains this also.

switch hoses from side to side and see if the raise pressure and hold up problem goes away, of course the lever will work opposite but that will help you diagnose.

The haybine is just one hose. It will barly lift it with the right side and then fall. it will lift it fine with the left.

If the thermals are OK in the Right side you have a problem with a check valve seat, or a blown gasket. I have had to deal with both in the past.

Thermals are easy to tell if they are damaged,, look for melting and or distortion and or the ball stuck in the guide like the pic shows, the seats have to be drilled to remove them, also replace the oring at the bottom of the bore where the seats go, original's are white replacements are blue, they are in the RH head when standing behind the machine. I added the last two pics to show what I use to remove the bottom of the seat if they are melted bad enough they will do come out, last pic shows the end of a seat on the lag screw that was not as melted and came out somewhat easy, when installing them, I put a dab of grease on the oring when it is in the recess so when you drive the new seat in it stays in place and does not jump up and get cut or come out completely, also lube the seat with hyd oil before installing

Well that looks to be my problem, the plastic guides had melted apart. So I guess when they blow apart it sends fluid on the back side of the check valves so they won't seat to circulate fluid. Thanks for the help I will order a new set and hope to put this old girl back to work

Well got the new parts in the mail, put them in and she works like a champ now, thanks for the help
