970 Case 3pt won't lift

Simple things first. Check the cable linkage between lever on console and DOM valve to insure it is working. Make sure the spring is not broken on the front of the DOM spool, and that the spool is free to move. If all is OK there get back here and repost. You will have to then get into either the valve or the internal linkage box.

Thank you Loren. Ruled the above out, not sure how to get into the linkage box. Will it require taking the cab off?

You don't need to take cab off. There is a square removable plate under the floor mat that you can remove to access the box and DOM valve. I would be thinking that perhaps you have a stuck pilot valve. There is a small cover on the side of the DOM valve to service them. Clean up that whole area before any disassembly. It is not an easy spot to get to however. You can also remove the complete DOM valve and inspect/repair it on a work bench. The cover for the control box will be self explanatory, once you see it.

Before you dig too deep in to the Draft O' Matic, do you have decent hydraulic pressure at the remotes? If you don't have a high pressure gauge to check with, try to lift a heavier implement with a remote. Some times the pilot relief which is located in the dual remote valve will give trouble, causing inadequate hydraulic pressure being supplied to the DOM valve, as well as the remotes.
