Gentlemen -
Thank you both! Your help to another fellow in an archived post just saved me a lot of grief. Had been fighting limited hydraulic pressure on my 970 project....military troubleshooting took me to the relief in the dual remote valve that I had just rebuilt. I had that outer o-ring on wrong.....up above the taper. I can change that valve now in 15 mins and with minimal swearing.

Rod, my powershift rebuild to which you have responded to my questions on - so far it works great.

mEl, you contributed to the above job and many others more than you will ever know with your vast advice already in the archives.

Don't mean to single anyone out within this great group of fellows, but you two are tops!

Thanks is thanks enough. As a non typing person there are times I take short cuts in answering questions. If I could say all I wanted most times it would take paragraphs and sometimes more info results in more confusion by the receiving party. Anyway glad to help when possible. 15 minutes, damn I better remove a few more valves, apparently I need the practice, LOL. Rod.

Glad to be able to provide input, there are a few on forum who have been through the mill on those tractors and some who still are active in repair, Sounds like your troubleshooting skills are good, sadly I am not up on anything much newer than 96 series and the newer tractors are passing me by.
