I got some time to work on the tractor today and now everything is working with the exception that it won't move. The tractor is a 1965 Case 530CK with the caseomatic transmission. I took the line off the feeds fluid to the cooler in the front of the tractor and fluid seemed to be gushing out. I checked the filter and it seemed to be in good condition so I put it back in (Should I have replaced it anyway?). Then I removed the line coming back, and it didn't seem to have much flow. What is expected here? Should there be a lot of pressure or just some flow? Pushing the pedal in didn't have any effect. I've read that a control valve could be stuck open - would the valve cause this issue? Where is this valve to check?
The first picture shows the pipes I disconnected. The second shows the view from the other side (Can you see the control valve here?).
Thanks for any help
