There's a nice Va Case coming up on a sale June 3rd, in North Dakota with a eagle hitch, and a two bottom plow, mower, and a 10 foot cultivator, but that would be to big, wouldn't it. Anyway the implements are all the same color, green. A friend says it's a 51,I grabbed the crank, definitely isn't stuck. Back tires are like new.

I really like my 51 VAC. I hate the eagle hitch. I much prefer a regular 3 pt type. I have the parts to put it on mine. I know people will slam me on that.

We had a 52 VAC on the farm for years as a little chore tractor. Eagle Hitch is no problem to use, the issue with the VAC is the LACK of live power, + an extremly weak PTO drive gear. I've a 5 gal pail in the scrape pile full of gears, all minus a couple of teeth. Bush hog work was impossible with it (not lawn mowing, but willow, brush mowing) as any type of obstruction, even a dirt pile would necessitate a gear change. The gear is much weaker than any mower shear pin. The SC, while a titch heavier is 10 times the tractor, with it's live power, twin spool hydraulics and much sturdier construction.

I have a 430 with the Ferguson arms and I would switch it in a second except I want to keep one tractor with Draftomatic. Eagle hitch is so easy to use.
