411 wiring harness project

Wiring harness for the 411 prove to be quite
challenging. All dash items complements of Saeli
equipment. I've held off on this project long enough
and decided it was time to challenge myself. I don't
know what the 411 wiring harness cost ,but this
was worth the three days and three nights . I didn't
say I was fast, I'm just thorough .CM

Chuck, does your 411 have the raceway that goes under the fuel tank and then the one along side of the block? Thinking thats what I see in the pic. just not sure. Gauges look great by the way. Looks like a good choice on wire sizes also. gobble
 
Evening Tom,
Yes ,when I found her she did not have the conduit under the tank, so I fashioned one out of a piece of c -channel ,and fortunately the conduit along the motor was intact. It took me a while to train the mouse to run through the motor conduit with a piece of string so that I could pull the wires later. He does not work cheap, and he only eats sharp cheddar. CM
 
Looks good but I do recommend a couple layers of good electric tape to help keep it from getting a wear spot(s) and shorting on you,, I have fixed a lot of ones left this way, some of them got a bit warm before they were brought to me,, I also like to install a circuit breaker at the point where all power comes from to aid in the former happening

Point taken Tom I certainly will. I have some of that flexible conduit that is split, it should serve me well thank you CM
 
that will help yes Chuck but it too will wear the wires unless they are taped from vibration and movement, look at a trailer with the wires ran through them after a few years,, just going by what i have seen over the years,, not trying to be critical at all

Nutty, keep pointing out those little things, as my mind fades, one needs to be reminded of what they once knew . Hee hee
