Just wondering if it is possible to install a mechanical
Temperature gauge to replace an electric one.
Just purchased this tractor and the wire harness is a mess
Tractor serial no.is638356
Thanks Chris

Easy enough. Most of the auto parts store capillary gauges will have a fitting that will screw into the factory hole in the front of the cylinder head.

OK thanks
I will worried the sensor is close
To the thermostat the prob my be to long
We will see
Thanks chris

Don't worry about the length, just coil it and make it secure. You may find the British threads are a bit different from US pipe threads. Use some decent teflon tape and it will be fine. Worked on my 990 and still isn't leaking.

Thanks Bret
I wasn't worried about the cable length just the length of the prob that goes into the engine
