Got some corn planted

Got to use my dc for a couple jobs. First was picking rocks. Not really my favorite job, but got to use the dc so it's all good. Then di d some planting. Was using Jeff's olives on the planter, but th e but weren't working so had to switch to old reliable dc to get the job done.

Good to see those tractors out working in the fields. I hope to have mine out this fall doing some plowing. The tractor looks in real good shape by the way.
 
Good to see a DC out working! A farmer neighbor used to call rocks like that "implement busters". As in, "we only pick the implement busters". LOL It makes me feel better to know I'm not the only one here with rocks to pick. Don
 
Nice to see the DC at work. We didn't use to have rocks like that here until we started to do deep tillage in the fall. Now there every where.

Those rocks are a lot bigger then I thought they would be. I aways liked looking down the hood of the DC. What population do you plant your corn? Thanks for the pics.
