1070 gages

Hello I rebuilt a 1070 that had a dash fire last fall ,I use a 970 as a Donner for the complete dash and steering column and wiring harness I ohmed all the wires but the gauges for the trans oil temp dose not work, it some times will read hot but the pto housing feels about as warm as it would sitting in the sun. dose anyone make a mechanical one with that long of a leed and if so what should the oil temp be, also the trans pressure gauge dose not work I have several mechanical oil pressure gauges what should the pressure be on a numerical gauge. thanks Bryan

Have you checked sending units? If they were damaged in fire they won't send signal to gauges.

Hello the sending unit for the temp was replace from the 970 could be bad ?? the trans pressure is manual. Thanks Bryan

The 70 series has 2 different vintage gauges. The newer ones do not interchange with the older ones.
