2294 sinking feeling

OK Started putting corn in the ground today. Get a nice start and the seat sinks all the way down. Fiddled with it a bit and came up and worked normally for a few rounds and sank again and stayed there. Would come up when I got off but pretty much no "spring" and bottomed out when I sat down. The bar with the cam in the back that has broken before appears to be ok.

Does anyone have any thoughts as to what is wrong? BTW this is the hydraulic suspension and the other hydraulics were working properly.

Behind the steps on the cab there is a small square looking valve that has a couple of hoses going to it, one of them may even be labeled seat suspension, tap that valve firmly a couple of times with a hammer or pair of pliers or something, sometimes the if a little piece of dirt or something floats thru the system it can cause that valve to get sticky. Seat should work normally after wards but it may stick again in the future. The seat on dads 2096 had that issue and It acted up for about 3yrs on and off. Finally it must have gotten everything worked out of its system because its been fine for several years now.
