Finally got my 1030 finished and operational! She has a complete new engine, clutch, brakes, wiring. Needs tires badly and eventually will get paint. Hope to try it out tomorrow on some jobs.

You are going to enjoy riding this tractor . Riding a 1030 is like riding on a rocket with a seat on it . A lot of power in a rather compact tractor . I have been following your progress post, and you have done a great job of making one good , working tractor , out of two derelicts .

Nothing was wrong with the pump, was a plugged injection line. Thought I had blown air through them, but must have missed one. When I pulled the lines and turned the pump it worked fine, so I rechecked the lines and found one plugged. Don't know what is in it but I couldn't even get it clean by running a wire through it. I had extra lines tho, so I just replaced it.

Nice job! Brings back memories of the 1030 we had back on the farm. They are a workhorse. Dad didn't take care of it very well but it lasted a long time. When we sold the farm stuff in '05 (after he passed) it went for $2800. A kind buyer, I think. The tranny leaked, the radiator leaked, it was beat up...
