VA clutch rod

I am pretty sure the end of the clutch rod broke off and won't engage the clutch. Is there a fix for this without splitting it open?

The clutch rod function is to disengage the clutch only not engage. If the knob has broken off the end of the rod or it has worn through the TO fork socket you will not be able to disengage the clutch with the foot pedal, disconnect rod at the foot pedal and pull it out. Only fix is splitting.
