Three point won't lift high enough

I have a David Brown/Case 995 with a Farm Force post hole digger. The problem I'm having is the three point won't lift high enough for the auger to clear the ground. Misses by about 5 inches. The three point arms lift 29" at the ends and the end of the boom is about 54" at full lift. With a four foot auger and the power head the auger doesn't clear the ground. I've included pictures. Chains and stabilizers are not tight at full lift. Already checked that.

If you shorten the top link (assuming you haven't tried that) it may bring the auger higher at full lift.

On mine there is a series of holes on the main beam. If you move the top of the frame from the lift arms closer to the rear of the tractor it should
lift the auger higher.

There is no top link. The lifting arm attaches to the top link location. I posted a couple of pictures.

Does the lift arms have a hole closer to the tractor to pin the lift links in? sometimes have had to do that, also most had a adjustable lift link, can't tell if yours on the LH side is adjustable, if it is you have to pull the lift link pin and screw it shorter, also if yours has the hyd system you can set for "position control" that may get you extra rockshaft movement as well

Hi FreeBee,
It appears that the sway bracket and chain on the right side will not allow the list arms any higher. It should be very tight where the lift arms are at in the pictures.
