I was bushogging with my 990 and rolled over a large clump of grass that had accumulated in front of the bushog. When the blades got into that clump
of grass I heard a fairly loud popping noise that came from the rear end of the tractor and then the tractor pto shaft stopped turning. When I removed
the bushog I could easily turn the tractor pto shaft by hand, and there is now a lot of play in the in and out movement of it.I must have broke
something but I don't know what. Elmer, if you are reading this I would appreciate your expert advice on the matter, and on how to access the pto
shaft to determine what broke. Anybody else's advice would also be appreciated.I love this dependable old tractor. Thanks
