800 Hydraulic Coupler Hookup

Is there supposed to a fitting to tie the hose to the coupler? The coupling has fine thread and the hose side looks to be a 1/2" male flare. I can't find the dang thing anywhere locally. What am I missing?

You use to be able to get an adapter from Case-IH to use coarse thread hoses. Adapter had male fine threads and accepted a coarse thread male end. Don't know if they are available yet.
 
Part number is A27744, would need a hose with a pipe nipple, the flanged end isn't right. Original hoses had the special end that would thread directly into the coupler.
 
I think I have at least one of those adaptors, maybe 2, and I do have at least one case coupler that Will screw on that hose you can have. My email is open.
 
Originally, all 4 hoses on the 800 had male ends. The hoses to the couplers had 7/8X18 male thread. CASE still offers numerous adapters to go from 1/2" Male or 1/2" Female to their 7/8"X18thd. To go from 1/2" Female, you need an A27359 Adapter.
 
Does the flare part on the hoses turn freely or is it stuck? If it is stuck try taking the flared part off and see if the remaining threads match your coupler. Unless you have it somewhere else you are also missing the spring that goes inside the coupler. You put it in and then screw the coupler to the hose.

Thanks, John - I think what you and Pat are both trying to tell me is that maybe I don't have the original hoses? That's been par for the course on this restore...lol. It is good to know 7/8 x 18 on the coupler side. I took that coupler to several local joints and they all wanted to call it an 1" in SAE terms.
