Case VAC. I have it running but still needs some TLC

So I put in a new set of points and it starts right up but after running a few minutes it starts back firing out of the carb. I do not have any coolant in it as of yet so it does heat up pretty fast. I figure I need to pull the valve cover off and set the valves. Only problem is with doing that is I do not have a manual for it so not sure what the intake and exhaust need to be set at.

Any body know the correct setting for them?

Lash is 0.014" both intake & exhaust, set cold.

Thanks guess I'll have to see if I can get the valve cover off with out hurting the gasket to much and set them
