Case 430 low oil pressure

I have a 430 case construction king. It has low oil pressure (5 lbs). My brother told me some older tractors that you can turn up the oil pressure. Does anyone know if I can do this on my tractor. And if so how do you do it?

Can you try another gauge to confirm it is a accurate reading?

Cannot be turned up, but could be a stuck relief valve, or just plain ol'e worn out. Or, maybe, you might luck out as I did on a 430. The line leading from the block to the gauge, as well as the gauge, were both plugged. Cleaned everything out & she jumps to 28 psi. Usually, I'm not that lucky.

If you go to the manual it will give you specs to pressure releif spring in oil pump. strech it out till it matches specs. While you have pan off plastigage the bearing to see how much wear on crank bearings
