Case 555/PT10

Aqanintance of mine purchased a case 555/Hesston PT10 and has the ever so common broken knife drive components. This has the old style with the tie rod set up not the u-joint like the later ones had. Agco dealers that sell Hesston parts I assume? Anyone parting one with the slight chance of good parts? Any thoughts are appreciated. The rest of the machine is in good shape. Thanks!

yes check with Agco, they may still support the parts also make sure he rebuilds the Whole knife system guards sickels , sections and he will have no more issues as long as she is in time,, 99.9% of drive component failures here are due to worn out cutting parts as it puts too much strain on the drive seen it way too many times in the last 40 plus years
