Uncoverd something....

So, as I was stripping paint I uncovered this on the back of the fuel tank. Is this a common decal found on older CASE machinery, or is it unique to the CASE crawlers? I know it's a little ratted but that's what happens whan you don't know it's there and hit it with the paint stripper!
It say's "Manufactured by the J.I. CASE Co. Racine Was. U.S.A."<a href="http://photobucket.com/" target="_blank"><img src="http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h67/King-snake/Case%20Crawler/4951B16B-634C-4DF4-9D66-4A6826D4F508.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo 4951B16B-634C-4DF4-9D66-4A6826D4F508.jpg"/></a>

Fairly common as the back of your crawler is not as big as mine the decals changed by model, these have been reproduced but the letters that I have found are Desert Sunset which will not work with the same back round color, these appear to have had some sort of reflective ink in them so that a light from another piece of equipment really changes the reflective nature of the stenciled letters I have found that in the silk screen process this is still available in different colors however I have no seen this applied to decals maybe you search will yield a more positive result, I imagine it would also need to be UV resistant to prevent fading or it may just be necessary to clear coat over the decal every few years.

mine is slightly different at the bottom it says a product of J I Case Co Racine Wisconsin

on mine they used cork gaskets directly equipment for the back of the headlight, did you get those? mine were an Odd size OD head light nowadays and little expensive if I remember correctly they were the same as the Old IH headlight, I had too search for the best deal on the internet. I also had a few screws that were not interested in coming out and I used brass screws with the same profile as they old screw

I have not yet sorced out lights. I have a few other things that I need to tend to before I get to that point! I also had a few screws that came out in two pieces. I did manage to get them all out. I will take these pictures and some others I have and get the sign shop to replicate them. not sure if I will be able to get the reflectice background, but I will try. There was no sign of this decal under the yellow paint, or else I would have sanded down to it and not used chemical strip. Oh well. I think I saaved enough of it to make a duplicate.
