I Am Confused To What I Have On 530 CK

On a earlier post about how to use the Torque Converter on a 1967 530 CK tractor back-hoe, just realized that maybe, I don't have a torque Converter transmission. I really didn't run the unit much only to warm it up to change motor oil and fuel filters. If it had the torque converter, wouldn't the lever be on the right-side of the dash panel? There is a lever that comes out the right-side of the transmission opposite of the shuttle lever. I never played with that lever on the right side. I have no control lever on the dash, just the throttle on the left. I am thinking that lever on the right is a high-low trans. Would I have maybe the 8 speed trans with out a Torque converter? Tomorrow, if it's warm enough, I'm going to fire the unit up and see what that lever does and try to get some pictures of it. Thanks again!

Sounds like you have a direct drive with a standard clutch. The lever on the right would be your dual range lever making it an 8 speed. Forward should be high range and when pulled back you would be in low range. You have to depress clutch to shift this lever. Dick
