Personal dream tractor

Like to know what kind of tractor or not even a tractor could be a piece of equipment you all collectors dream about having? Why? And how would you ever find it? Seems like a good conversation. Have a great day!

I would love to have a CASE Steam Traction Engine, a small one would be fine, 40hp or so. A 110 would be the ultimate prize for me, as they say - money talks. !!

800 COM with Farmhand loader. could buck hay and fill feed wagon with my eyes shut. with big bucket and cable tilt was great for pushing snow. in 78 dad bought a new 4440 with a 158 loader thought we were in tall grass then.

I have had my eye on a "1170" that has axle duals, factory weights, factory cab, air, & heat and we dyno'd her when she was much younger and she had 150hp! She is a gutsy badboy looking tractor, but I saw her this summer, and she is showing her age (like I'm!)

A 2594 with about 1500 hours on it. I love the color combo. 2nd choice would be finding a Case car in some old barn. Don

It's not a tractor or implement. But I am missing FIVE known CASE Watch Fobs to complete my collection of having every one ever made. I have been to Watch Fob Conventions & Fob shows but there are five that are eluding me. Gerald

Fully weighted 1570 with axle mounted duals, functioning A/C converted to R134 , and custom stereo with mp3 usb port.

Hanomag Robust 800 doctored up like this one.

Well, it is another color tractor, sorry. I want a 1468 IH without a cab but want a roll bar. I always thought they were the neatest.

The first family tractor after horses was a Huber on steel. It got away from us and I have no idea what the model number was. It sure would be cool to have it around since it was the first tractor on the farm and it didn't come soon enough. Grandpa hated horses as did my Dad and I can truly say it must be genetic because a horse looks like dog food to me, but an old tractor makes my heart skip a beat.

I would like to see a hybrid tractor with a 30 series rear end a 70 series cab and front end with a 90 series flip up hood, turning about 140Hp and a dual PTO. Add A/C

I have just what you are looking for, not for sale but thought I would post a pic for you, all features you are looking for, now has full set of factory front weights and 2290hrs

If I wanted another tractor which I don't it would be an IH 1456, brother had one and it looked and sounded like a brute. What I'd rather have is one of my cars from yesteryear, 69 SS Camaro, 64 SS Impala or 77 Corvette, any one of them.

I can kinda agree with you there. The only new car we've ever owned was a 1966 SS 396 Chevelle 375hp 4 spd (Maroon too). Brand new 2nd LT, flight school behind me, single with awesome credit (so the bank thought) total price was $3100 as I recall. On the tractor end, I've a neighbor with a '56 Racine 400 with 1700 hours on it. Original hour meter and every bell and whistle Case offered. His Grandpa bought it when he retired from farming and turned the operation over to his son. He just used it for putzing around pulling hay racks etc and when he passed, back into the corner of a shed. I've 2 here on the farm and love them, but this one next door is so clean, so original, paint, tin it's just awesome.

Give me a good Case 600 combine w/cab any day!

My dad set me on it in 1976 and said "I want clean grain in the tank and none on the ground."

That's how I learned to operate a combine! Miss my old 600.

Brian

ANY hit/miss engine? We need to get together for coffee the next time you are in the area. Got a trip hazard in the garage you could take a look at. JD Model E, 1 1/2 Hp on a cart.

I would like to have a 670 with turboed 207, 12spd, COM, DOM, flat deck iso- mounted cab with 2 doors, and the rest of the 70 series styling features.

I was away in the USAF when I heard about the '42 Farmall M, that I grew up on, had burnt up in a barn fire. I cried.
but now I have a DC Case (for sale) and a TO-30 for fun. Favorite car was '65 GTO I ordered from factory.

For me it is a Spirit of '76 Case 1570. Something about that patriotic paint makes me smile a lot.

It's hard to pic one, but this Tractor would be at the top of my list.
This is the tractor Adirondack case guy has posted about. A 1070 with Hyd front assist.

Keith ,I have a 54' SC here in southern ind for some 20 yrs ,, aint no telling if its local ,. they do get around ,,. if you know the serial number I would be happy to chek , regardless it is for sale , I probably need to put it in healthier hands . I overhauled the motor rite after I got it, ///// no such thing ,imho, of a personel dream tractor my personal dream tractor is always hookt up to whatever I need it to run,,. none of that kus'n around hookin and unhook'n , by myself,,. since summer , my 430 has been on the bale forks, my daily feeding tractor ,the 730 is on the feedgrinder since October ,the liberty 430 has the posthole diggersince christmas , the liberty 530 has the bushog since july , the DB 1210 has the traileron it for wood and fencing and gawd knos anything else ..the DC does instant odd jobs ,, but you ought to seen it pulling the 8 ft airway in 2nd gear, the 800,VAC,and SC has not run in a couple yrs , neither has my 511 , and pops 430, and 2 of my DCs have sat for 8yrs or more... just got to get crankin on them sometime...

well golly , if some of you guys wanna talk cars ,.. I have been in love with my triple black 69' marquis convertible since 1974 , but, I am lookin for a 57'Desoto 4dr hardtop , like my dad had , and just for fun , I want a bill blass mark V with carriage apptmts and sunroof , a dropnose 72' Mark IV , 69 ' MARK III , and finally a 66-67 thunderbird,, and it sure would be nice if they looked good and everything worked ,, just in case ol sandy claus is reading this,,.. or somebody could go tell him .

A Sheppard Diesel SD4 or a Minneapolis Moline UDLX. For a Case I would LOVE to have back the 78 model 1270 we got rid of in 05. Only one I ever saw with an aspirated air cleaner without the precleaner through the hood. It had the heavy rear and front axles under it and it WAS a BEAST! Rear axles were long axles and it had axle mount cast 20.8-38 duals.

4994 with 3pt and PTO
case silage cutter
1665 case combine with a 306 corn head
Case sickle mower
Case grinder mixer
Case corn planter
Case plow
Case corn picker
Case helix wagon like casenuttys

That's my list so far

wants and needs

Always liked the V8. Very 1970's. All that bother for only 14 extra HP!
