Thought I'd make a gasket for the transmission cover today. No case tractors were harmed during this operation . I only had to pull a small portion of moisture out of the buckets after I drained it . I added the optional baffle last year after I experienced transmission fluid blowing out the top vent cover

Chuck; How thick is that gasket paper? Do you think its possible that the oil was foaming from the continued speed and heat? Mine has leaked around the gear shifter. gobble

I rolled out some 1/16 Oilrite veg style 444 material Tom. I have experienced the same issue at the shifter boot. I'm still scratching my head on that one. I am running the level in the transmission at the recommended 14 gallons. The vents were initially clogged with mud dobber dew. Just for your information, I pulled about a gallon or two off the transmission drain, and the balance from the rear end plug. The shifter boot is still soft and plyable.CM
